The UNDC301 is an advanced data concentrator unit (DCU) designed for smart metering infrastructure, providing efficient data collection, communication management, and device control capabilities. It supports plug-and-play module: for downlink communication modules, include G3-PLC, BPLC, RF mesh, Wi-SUN and hybrid(PLC and RF), and For uplink communication, include GPRS, 3G, 4G, Ethernet, and Optical Fiber interfaces, ensuring flexible and reliable communication across diverse deployment environments.

The DCU also has metering capability which works as an indirect meter and measures active, reactive, and apparent energy. The meter supports Time-of-Use (TOU) billing, load profiling, power quality monitoring, and tamper detection. 

In addition to automatic topology discovery and real-time network quality analysis, the UNDC301 supports scheduled meter reading, priority-based reading algorithms, and self-diagnosis with event logging. Compliance with international standards (DLMS/COSEM and IEC 62056-9-1), the UNDC301 ensures reliable communication for smart grid applications.
